Ingredients
  

Topping

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated for best texture
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko recommended for extra crunch
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter helps the crust brown
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets about 6 ounces each
  • as needed Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and press the cheese and breadcrumb mixture firmly onto the top of each fillet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven, garnish with lemon wedges, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve alongside a fresh garden salad or roasted vegetables. Drizzle lemon juice over the baked salmon before serving for enhanced flavor.
