  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For brushing the salmon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and coat the tops with the Parmesan mixture, pressing down to ensure it sticks.
  • Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use wild-caught salmon. Experiment with adding herbs or spices to the crust for variations.
