Preparation

  • If using fresh bananas, slice them into small pieces and freeze for about 2 hours until firm.

Blending

  • Add the frozen banana chunks, peanut butter, and milk into a blender.
  • Blend until the mixture is thick and smooth, adjusting the quantity of milk for desired consistency.
  • Optionally, add a handful of frozen berries for extra fruit flavor.

Serving

  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a slice of banana or sprinkle of chia seeds if desired.

Notes

Store any leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours. Can add yogurt for thickness or honey/maple syrup for sweetness. Experiment with additional ingredients like flax seeds or cocoa powder for variations.
