  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet. Lower heat, add butter and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and stir to deglaze. Add Parmesan cheese and simmer until thickened.
  • Return chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through and coat with sauce.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients, taste as you go, and consider marinating the chicken for enhanced flavor. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, a green salad, or roasted vegetables.
