  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preparation

  • Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken thighs for 4-5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic, and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, then simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and coated in sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Proper storage keeps leftovers fresh for up to three days in the refrigerator. Freeze for longer storage.
