Ingredients
  

Dough and Cheese

  • 1 sheet crescent roll dough or biscuit dough Use your favorite type
  • 8 small cubes brie cheese (about 1-inch each) Cut into evenly sized cubes

Cranberry Filling

  • 8 teaspoons cranberry sauce Or 1/2 cup of dried cranberries

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces.
  • Flatten each dough piece slightly and place a cube of brie and a teaspoon of cranberry sauce (or a few dried cranberries) in the center.
  • Fold the dough over the filling and pinch edges tightly to seal. Roll into a ball.
  • Place sealed side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush each bomb with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle a little brown sugar and fresh thyme over the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for 2–3 minutes and serve warm.

Notes

For serving, garnish with fresh thyme or additional cranberry sauce. They pair well with sparkling cider or light white wine. Store leftovers in an airtight container; reheat in the oven for best results.
