  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Provides healthy fats.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt To taste.
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper To taste.
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a cheesy flavor.
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional for a spicier kick.

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  • In a large bowl, toss broccoli with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Add half of the Parmesan cheese and toss again.
  • Spread broccoli on the baking sheet in a single layer without crowding.

Cooking

  • Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and browned on the edges.
  • Immediately sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top after removing from oven.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, choose fresh broccoli. Adjust the seasonings according to taste. Can be served as a side or enjoyed as a snack.
