Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Use good quality ground beef for best flavor and texture.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, finely chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.

Notes

Serve with spaghetti, in sub sandwiches, or as appetizers with dipping sauce. To store, allow to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container. Can be refrigerated for up to three days or frozen for up to three months. Reheat in simmering sauce or microwave.
