Ingredients
  

Meatball Mixture

  • 1 pound ground beef Choose a blend with some fat content, around 80/20 is ideal.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Soaked in milk for moisture.
  • 1/4 cup milk Used for soaking breadcrumbs.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley For added flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Provides savory depth.
  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Add according to preference.
  • as needed for frying Olive oil For frying the meatballs.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until just combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the meatballs until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve meatballs with pasta, in a sub, or as an appetizer.

Notes

These meatballs are freezer-friendly. Store in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge or freeze for up to three months.
