  • 2-3 tsp peanut butter or any nut or seed butter
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tsp maple syrup or honey, or preferred sweetener
  • a dash sea salt
  • 1 tsp chia seeds optional

Preparation

  • In a small jar or bowl that can be sealed, combine all the ingredients: rolled oats, milk, peanut butter, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, maple syrup or honey, sea salt, and chia seeds if using.
  • Stir well to mix all the ingredients together, ensuring thorough combination for the best texture and flavor.
  • Cover the jar or bowl and place it in the refrigerator. Let sit overnight for best results.
  • In the morning, enjoy the oats straight from the jar or pour into a bowl. Consider topping with cocoa nibs, extra peanut butter, dark chocolate chips, or slices of banana.
