  • 250 g chocolate malt balls (e.g., Maltesers)
  • 70 g mini marshmallows 1½ cups
  • 400 g milk chocolate, broken into pieces For melting
  • 100 g chocolate malt ball spread (e.g., Maltesers spread) or any chocolate spread For blending with melted chocolate

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Line an 8-inch square tin with baking paper.
  • Mix malt balls and mini marshmallows in a bowl.
  • Melt milk chocolate with chocolate spread using a microwave in short bursts, stirring, or using a double boiler.
  • Cool the melted chocolate for 5 minutes, then pour over the mix and stir to coat thoroughly.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared tin and chill for 3 hours until set.
  • Once set, cut into 16 pieces and store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your favorite mix-ins or swap the milk chocolate for dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
