  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs Preferably organic and free-range for best flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Ensure to sauté until fragrant, but not burnt
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or a dairy-free alternative
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For searing chicken
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet.
  • Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add heavy cream and cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Return chicken thighs to the skillet and coat them with the sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta to complement the sauce.
