Pasta and Sauce Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne) Use any shape preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced Season with salt and pepper.
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced Any color is fine.
  • 1 cup zucchini, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken slices with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, zucchini, and broccoli. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  • Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the pan, then add the cooked pasta. Toss to coat evenly with sauce.
  • Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Serve the dish in warm bowls. Consider pairing with a fresh side salad and garlic bread for a delightful meal.
