Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine the dried basil, oregano, parsley, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir the herbs until evenly blended.
  • Pour the olive oil over the herb mix and stir until well combined.
  • Let the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • Transfer the oil to a shallow serving dish or ramekin.
  • Serve with crusty bread, warm rolls, or your favorite dippable sides.
  • Stir before each use to keep the herbs well distributed.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for 2–3 days; bring to room temperature before serving. Keeping the oil in an opaque container can help preserve it.
