Ingredients
  

For the steak and sauce

  • 1 lb Cajun-seasoned steak tips Use your favorite cut of beef.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the steak tips.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the pasta

  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta Can substitute with any pasta shape you prefer.
  • Chopped parsley for garnish Fresh parsley adds a nice touch.

Instructions
 

Cooking the pasta

  • Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking the steak

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the Cajun steak tips and cook until browned and cooked through.

Making the sauce

  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the heavy cream. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Toss the cooked rigatoni in the creamy sauce.
  • Add the steak tips to the pasta and mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Cook the steak tips on high heat for a nice sear. You can adjust the spice level by adding more Cajun seasoning. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat after thawing in the fridge.
