Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken thighs with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and place chicken thighs skin-side down, searing until golden brown and crispy.
  • Flip the thighs and cook for an additional few minutes before removing from skillet.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add butter and minced shallots, sautéing until fragrant; then add minced garlic.
  • Deglaze with chicken broth, scraping any browned bits; stir in fresh lemon juice and thyme.
  • Let the broth reduce slightly, then whisk in heavy cream until smooth and thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer gently until fully cooked through.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
