Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Raspberry Swirl

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries Lightly mashed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar For raspberries

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Beat in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.

Prepare Raspberry Swirl

  • In a small bowl, mix the raspberries with 1 tablespoon of sugar, mashing slightly.

Assembling the Brownies

  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  • Spoon half of the raspberry mix over the batter. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  • Pour the remaining batter on top and add the rest of the raspberries, swirling again.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Serve with powdered sugar and ice cream for extra indulgence. They can be stored in an airtight container for up to four days at room temperature or a week in the refrigerator.
