  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each) Look for fresh salmon with vibrant color.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For drizzling.
  • ½ cup mayonnaise For the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce For the sauce.
  • 1 tbsp sriracha Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional) For adding sweetness to the sauce.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on it.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon for 12–15 minutes until it flakes easily at an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey (if using), and rice vinegar or lime juice until smooth.

Serving

  • Once cooked, drizzle the sauce over the salmon and garnish as desired.

Notes

Serve over rice, with steamed vegetables, or in fish tacos. Garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or cilantro for extra flavor.
