Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 15 g 15g (1 tbsp) granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 large 1 large apple, peeled, cored, and cubed Preferably Fuji or Honeycrisp

For the topping

  • 40 g 40g (4¾ tbsp) plain (all-purpose) flour
  • 40 g 40g (3 tbsp) granulated sugar
  • 40 g 40g (3 tbsp) unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon until combined. Add the cubed apple and toss to coat.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and cold butter until combined and crumbly.
  • Divide the apple mixture between 2 ramekins, then evenly crumble the topping over each.

Baking

  • Bake for 25 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the apples are soft.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally topped with caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream.
