  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional) Use your choice of cheese

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and onion soup mix.
  • In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the rice evenly on the bottom.
  • Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and rice, ensuring it is well coated.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle with cheese if desired, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your cozy meal!

Notes
