Ingredients
  

For the marinade

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Can substitute fresh minced garlic for a stronger flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper To taste

For the salmon

  • 2 pieces salmon fillets (5-8 oz. each)

Preparation

  • Combine the sauce ingredients: honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Marinate the salmon in two-thirds (2/3) of the sauce for at least 30 minutes or toss the salmon fillets in the sauce until fully covered.

Cooking

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer and baste with the remaining marinade.
  • Air fry for 7-8 minutes, checking for doneness at the 7-minute mark.

Serving

  • Serve hot, drizzled with the remaining sauce.

Notes

For a complete meal, pair the salmon with steamed vegetables or a light salad. Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon wedges for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days or frozen for 3 months.
