Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Fresh or thawed is best.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken in the air fryer for about 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked, turning halfway.
  • Once cooked, slice the chicken into strips.

Assembly

  • Lay a tortilla flat, add chicken strips and mozzarella cheese.
  • Optional: add lettuce, tomatoes, or any preferred toppings.
  • Roll the tortilla tightly, securing the filling.
  • Place the wraps in the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the outside is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the air fryer, slice in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

These wraps are best served warm right after cooking. Pair them with a dipping sauce like ranch, marinara, or buffalo sauce. Store wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer to maintain crispiness. Experiment with different cheeses and proteins for variety!
