  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly) Use thin slices for quicker cooking.
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snow peas) Feel free to substitute with vegetables you have on hand.

Sauce and Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Used for frying.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Use gluten-free if necessary.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Ensure it's gluten-free for dietary restrictions.
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Serving

  • Cooked rice or noodles For serving.

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
  • Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper before removing from the heat.
  • Serve the beef stir fry over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

For leftovers, cool the stir fry and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat before serving.
