Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 cup cubed watermelon Use fresh, ripe watermelon for best flavor.
  • 1 cup coconut water Can be substituted with fresh lime juice for a zesty twist.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut off the rind of your watermelon and chop it into cubes.
  • Fill a Ninja Creami pint container with diced watermelon up to the max fill line.
  • Pour coconut water into the cup up to the max fill line.
  • Add the lid and place the pint in the freezer on a level surface overnight, for 12-24 hours.

Serving

  • When ready to spin, microwave for 30 seconds or run the outside of the pint container under hot water for a couple of minutes.
  • Add the pint to the Ninja Creami machine and spin on the sorbet setting or use the lite ice cream setting.
  • If the sorbet is a little dry or chunky on the first spin, re-spin as needed for a smooth, creamy texture.

Notes

Garnish with fresh mint leaves or shredded coconut for added texture and flavor. For storage, scoop any leftover sorbet into an airtight container, pressing down to eliminate air pockets. Best consumed within a week or two.
